For your trade
A funeral home site that answers the next step
A family calling after a death needs hours, a person, and the next step. They are not looking for a slogan. They need: when you are reachable, how arrangements start, and where obituaries already run. Stock lilies and a soft paragraph do not answer that. Times, an arrangement path, and a link to the obituary host you already use do. We will not write cute copy. We will not invent a history you did not send.
Cheap Fast Websites sells a standard marketing site for $1,000, or $500* if you pay in full by September 30, 2026. This page is the funeral-home version of that product: a marketing site a family can use on a phone. Hours, who answers, how to start arrangements, obituaries you already publish. Not a cremation cart. Not a grief app. Not a members area. If you already live in Passare, SRS, Funeraltech, Legacy, Tribute Archive, or a shared after-hours line, the site sends them there. We do not rebuild software you will not open.
At-need vs pre-need is a fork. Both belong on the page, labeled as what they are. Traditional service vs graveside vs cremation vs direct cremation: only the services you actually provide. If you do not do certain rites, or you do not work with a particular cemetery, put that as a line a family can read before they drive. We will not write “celebrate a life” unless those are your words. We will use the words you use on the phone: arrangement, visitation, service, cremation, obituary. License and funeral-director numbers only if you want them public. We typeset what you hold. We will not invent a license. We will not invent a founding year.
Photos: the building, the chapel or visitation room, the parking, if you want them public. Phone photos in daylight are fine. Skip stock doves and a rented staircase. We will not steal another home’s chapel. Staff names only with permission. Prices: a general-price-list note if you already publish one, or “ask when you call” if that is how you handle it. We will not put a package price you will not honor. We will not put a countdown or a “limited plots this week” clock on this page.
Hours, the arrangement path, obituaries you already run
- Hours a family can reach you, including after-hours if that is true — and next-business-day if that is the truth
- How arrangements start: call, walk in, or a short form. One path.
- Services you provide — traditional, graveside, cremation — and a line on what you do not
- Obituaries: a link to Legacy, Tribute Archive, or the host you already run. We do not invent a second obituary system.
- A short form if you take web inquiries: name, phone, at-need vs pre-need, a note. Big tap targets.
- Tap-to-call. 813-451-2204 is how this shop does it on our own pages.
Keep any form short. Name, phone, at-need or pre-need. A long questionnaire on a phone is the wrong tool the night someone dies. Put the phone in the first screen as a real tel link. If after-hours goes to an answering service, say so. If a director answers, say so. A chat widget nobody staffs is a closed door. We will not typeset a service list you did not send. We will not write jokes, puns, or “celebration” filler you did not ask for.
What we will not pretend
We do not promise you will rank #1 for “funeral home” in a county. Basic SEO on this job is a title, a meta description, and Open Graph. Not a map-pack prize. Not 40 town pages stuffed with the same paragraph. If you already have a site, check it before you pay. If the hours are true and the arrangement path works, stay and patch. If the number is a picture of the chapel, or the last vendor took the login, rebuild.
Not at this price: a cremation cart, an obituary CMS we invent, a native app, a pre-need payment portal. Those get a quote. We will not invent a founding date, a license, or a prize. We will not put fake NAP schema on a building we invented. Labeled samples of other trades sit at /examples/. They are layouts, not clients. Live work on this shop is our own sites: Dodo, Pets Helping Pets, Tampa’s Best DJ, LazerMerch. We will not invent a funeral-home client.
$500* for a standard marketing site. $100 down starts the full $1,000 job. That is not the sale. $500 is pay-in-full by September 30, 2026 only. A one-page with hours and a phone is $27. +$27 lifetime hosting on our server if you want that ($54). Worldwide, 24/7. Most jobs under 72 hours when the brief is clear. Send: home name, hours including after-hours, services you provide, the obituary URL you already use, whether pre-need is offered, the current site if any. Phone 813-451-2204.
