For your trade
A handyman site that takes the punch list
A homeowner with a punch list is not watching a “we do it all” reel. They need: do you take this kind of job, do you come to this town, and how do they send the list. Stock tool belts and a handshake on a porch do not answer that. A short list of work you actually take, the towns you drive, and a form do. An 80-item menu of trades you will not touch is how you win a lead you ghost.
Cheap Fast Websites sells a standard marketing site for $1,000, or $500* if you pay in full by September 30, 2026. This page is the handyman version of that product: a marketing site a stranger can use on a phone. Jobs you take, towns you cover, a tap-to-call number, a form that arrives. Not a dispatch app. Not a cart. Not a members area. If you already quote in a notebook, Jobber, Housecall, or texts, the site sends them there. We do not rebuild software you will not open.
Punch list vs one big job is a fork. Say it. Mounting TVs, assembling, drywall patches, doors, and “I have eight small things” are different days than a kitchen you are not licensed to rebuild. If you will not touch electrical, plumbing, or roofs, put that line on the first screen. Wrong leads waste the afternoon. License and insurance only if you want them public. We will typeset what you hold. We will not invent a license number. HOA and rental-property work only if you actually take it.
Photos: jobs you finished. Phone photos in daylight are fine. A shelf, a door, a patched wall. Skip the stock smiling crew on a ladder. Before and after if you have them. We will not steal another guy’s deck. We will not write “honey-do hero” copy. Use the words you use on the phone. Prices: a range if the range is real. Hide it if every visit is a walkthrough. Do not put “$99 any job” you will not honor.
Punch lists, not 80 fake trades
- The work you take, and a line on what you do not — electrical, plumbing, roofs if those are no
- Towns or radius you actually serve — do not list the whole metro
- License / insurance line if you want it public
- Three to ten photos of finished jobs, before/after if you have them
- A form: name, phone, town, punch list or one job, a photo they can attach. Big tap targets.
- Tap-to-call. 813-451-2204 is how this shop does it on our own pages.
Keep the form short. Name, phone, town, what is broken or what needs doing. A 40-field application on mobile loses the job. A “text us a picture” line beats a CMS gallery they will never use. Put the phone in the first screen as a real tel link. Hours or “call back next business day” if that is the truth. Fake “booked solid this weekend” clocks stay off unless that is true. A chat widget nobody staffs from the truck is a closed shop.
What we will not pretend
We do not promise you will rank #1 for “handyman” in a big county. Basic SEO on this job is a title, a meta description, and Open Graph. Not a map-pack prize. Not 40 town pages stuffed with the same paragraph. If you already have a site, check it before you pay. If the jobs are real and the form works, stay and patch. If the number is a picture of a van, or the last guy took the login, rebuild.
Not at this price: a dispatch app, a parts cart, a native app, a members portal. Those get a quote. We will not list 80 trades to look bigger. We will not put fake NAP schema on a house we invented. Labeled samples of other trades sit at /examples/. They are layouts, not clients.
