For your trade
A jeweler site that takes the repair
Someone with a broken clasp or a ring that will not go on is not watching a luxury lifestyle montage. They need: do you repair, do you take walk-ins, and can they talk to a human this week. A homepage of stock diamonds and a paragraph about “timeless elegance” does not answer that. They bounce to the shop that says repair vs custom vs retail in the first screen.
Those three jobs are not the same site. A person who needs a battery in a watch and a person who wants a custom set are different next steps. Put the fork up front. Appointment vs walk-in belongs next to hours. If you lock the door and work by appointment only, say so. If the counter is open and repairs drop in, say that. A “book now” button that emails nobody is worse than a phone number.
We will not put fake appraisals on the page. If you write appraisals, we can say that, with the credentials you actually hold. We will not invent GIA language, “certified,” or an insurance-replacement mill. That is how shops get in trouble. Retail inventory can be a handful of real photos, or a link to the shop you already run. We do not fake a cart, an app, or a members area at this price. Quote those.
What belongs on a jeweler site
- Repair vs custom vs retail, spelled out in the first screen
- Appointment vs walk-in, with hours that are true
- A short list of work you take: sizing, prongs, watches, custom — and what you do not
- Real photos of work you made or repaired. Phone photos beat stock diamonds.
- A form: name, phone, repair vs custom, a photo if they have one. Big tap targets.
Custom work needs a consult path, not a 40-field questionnaire on a phone. Name, what they want, a budget range only if you ask for it, and a date they care about (wedding, anniversary). If you already book on a calendar, we point at that. We do not become a fourth book. Watch batteries and simple sizing can be a walk-in line so the phone stops ringing for a five-minute job.
If you buy gold or take trade-ins, that is a separate note, not a homepage takeover. Hours and a “bring ID” line beat a paragraph about the market. We will not write “highest prices in town” copy. We will not put a live metal ticker on a marketing site. That is a different job.
What we will not put on the page
No fake awards. No “best jeweler” banners. No stock couple on a beach as a substitute for work you did. We will not promise you will rank #1 for “jeweler near me.” Basic SEO here is a title, a meta description, and Open Graph. That is not a ranking prize. We will not build a bridal inventory portal or an appraisal login at $500*.
$500* for a standard marketing site. Cheap Fast Websites sells a standard marketing site for $1,000, or $500* if you pay in full by September 30, 2026. $100 down starts the full $1,000 job, not the sale. The sale is pay-in-full only, not a payment plan. A one-page with hours and a repair line is $27 if you host it. Add $27 for lifetime hosting on our server ($54). Worldwide, 24/7. Phone 813-451-2204. Most standard jobs ship under 72 hours when the brief is clear.
Live work on this shop is our own sites — LazerMerch, Tampa’s Best DJ, Pets Helping Pets — not fake client revenue. A jeweler page is the same shape: the work you take, how to walk in or book, then stop. Check the site you have now. If it is a slider of stock rings and no repair path, that is the problem. Pay and start when you are ready.
