Carrd is a toolkit. $27 is a finished page.

Cheap Fast Websites · updated August 25, 2026

Carrd is a good tool for a one-page site. That is not faint praise. It is built for a single scroll: a name, a few blocks, a button, a photo. Paid plans are cheap compared with Wix — on the order of $9–$49 a year, billed annually, with the tier most people need around $19 a year if they want a custom domain and a form. Free Carrd is a subdomain and a “Made with Carrd” footer. Fine for a test. Thin for a customer who is about to send a deposit.

Carrd is still DIY. You are the designer, the writer, and the person who finds out the form never arrived. The $27 one-page pack is the same job without the editor: we build a simple page from a short interview. You host it. +$27 lifetime hosting on our server ($54). It is not Carrd. It is not the $500* custom marketing site. It is “I need a URL that does not embarrass me.”

Cheap Fast Websites sells a standard marketing site for $1,000, or $500* if you pay in full by September 30, 2026. Use that path if you want a designed company page and a revision round. Use Carrd or the pack if a single scroll is honestly enough.

Where Carrd wins

You like clicking. You will actually finish the page. You want to change a line next Tuesday without emailing anyone. You might publish three tiny sites (event, resume, hustle) from one account. You are comfortable connecting a domain and waiting on DNS. You do not need a store. Carrd is a one-pager tool, not Shopify.

The yearly bill is the other win. Two years of Carrd Pro is still less than a dinner. Two years of Wix is a $500* site you do not own. If the only question is rent, Carrd is the cheap builder. If the question is your time, keep reading.

Carrd also looks cleaner than a lot of free Wix and Weebly pages because the product refuses to be a 40-page magazine. That constraint is a feature. It matches what we tell people to put on a one-pager: name, one sentence, hours, phone, photos, a way to reach you. Then stop.

Where Carrd quietly loses

You still have to do the work. A blank Carrd is a blank Carrd. People buy the $19 plan, pick a template, and stall on copy. Three weekends later the page is a gradient and a handle. The pack exists because that stall is common. Paying $27 to skip the editor is rational if you already know you will not open Carrd on a weeknight.

Forms and domains sit on higher tiers. The cheap paid plan is easy to misunderstand. If you need yourname.com and a form, budget for the plan that actually includes them, plus the domain at a registrar. Then test the form on a phone. A pretty Carrd with a form that never hits your inbox is the same failure as a $8,000 site with a dead form. Forms on our jobs notify tampasbestdj@gmail.com and get tested before we call the page live.

Leaving. Pro Plus can download sources. Lower plans are more of a login. If you might want out, ask yourself whether you are building an asset or renting a nice one-pager. Our pack is files on a host — yours or ours. The full marketing site is files plus a layout that is allowed to be more than one scroll.

It will not become a company site. No shame in that. When you need sections, a gallery, a story, a revision round, you have outgrown both Carrd and the $27 pack. That is the $500* job. Most of those finish in under 72 hours when the brief is clear. Do not pile blocks in Carrd until it is a maze. Buy the other product.

How to choose without a brand fight

If you already have a Carrd that passes the ten-second test — lock icon, tap-to-call, form that arrives, photos of the real work — stay. Do not pay us to rebuild a page that works. If the Carrd is a subdomain with a footer ad and no phone, either upgrade Carrd and finish it, or skip the editor and buy the pack.

If you are starting from zero and you hate builders, do not open Carrd “to save money” and then ghost the draft. $27 is the save. $100 down starts the $1,000 job; that is not the sale and it is the wrong SKU for a bio link. $500 is pay-in-full by September 30, 2026 only, and only for the full marketing site. Not a payment plan. Not a Carrd coupon.

Basic SEO is still a title, meta, and Open Graph. Carrd can do tags on paid plans. We put them in on our pages. Nobody honest promises #1 Google from a one-pager. Worldwide, 24/7. Phone 813-451-2204. If you want to see a finished one-scroll versus a fuller site, look at live work on this shop’s own properties, then pick a lane.

Free next step: paste your Carrd or whatever is in the bio. If you want it done without the editor, use the $27 pack or pay $500* when one page is no longer enough.
