Hiring
A designer ships a page you can use. Not a vibe.
People hear “web designer” and picture fonts. Mood boards. A person who “makes it pop.” On a standard marketing site, that is not the job. The job is: take the facts you already have, typeset them so a stranger on a phone can use them, put the files on a host you control, and help you point the name you already bought. If the designer cannot say whose hosting, whose domain, and whose files, they are renting you a login. Read how to pick one before money moves.
Cheap Fast Websites sells a standard marketing site for $1,000, or $500* if you pay in full by September 30, 2026. This shop is that hire, not a branding film. Most standard jobs finish in under 72 hours when the brief is clear. Worldwide, 24/7. Phone 813-451-2204. Bill is in Tampa / Zephyrhills. No public storefront. You pay on this domain whether you are in Florida or not.
What the work actually is
A designer here builds a brochure site. Name. One sentence about the work. Photos of the real jobs, not a stock skyline. Hours if you have them. A tap-to-call number. A form that arrives, or the booking tool you already answer. Title, meta, Open Graph so a share is not a blank square. HTTPS. Help pointing DNS. One round of changes on the full job. Then it is live. That is the product. See what a brochure website is if someone told you that word was an insult.
The brief starts it. Name as it should appear on the checks. What you do, for whom, where. Photos from your phone. The number you pick up. Hours. Current URL if any. Domain or host. A vision paragraph is not a brief. “Make it modern” is not a brief. What to send is the list. The clock does not start on a blank inbox.
- Layout from your facts and photos — not a ThemeForest demo with your logo dropped in
- Contact path that works on a thumb: real
tel:link, form that notifies an inbox you check - Basic SEO: title, meta description, Open Graph. Not a ranking prize
- Hosting setup on Bluehost or a host you already pay for
- Help pointing the domain. You still click at the registrar. We do not steal the name
- One revision round, in writing. Extra rounds quoted
- A person proofs the draft before a customer is told it is live
- Files you can move. Not a builder you cannot leave. Who owns the files
What it is not, at this price
It is not Google Ads. It is not a map-pack campaign. It is not a monthly blog you will not write. It is not a logo film. It is not a cart, an app, or a members area. Those get a quote or a no. We will say so before you pay instead of taking $500* and hoping. Anyone selling “logo + 10 pages + we rank you #1” for $150 is selling a hope.
A designer is also not your IT department on a pager. After launch, small changes are quoted. A mandatory $150/month “care plan” on a five-page brochure that never changes is a lawn service for a parking lot. Read when maintenance is real. If you wanted to live in Wix and click every Saturday, do not hire us to babysit an editor you enjoy. DIY if you will finish it.
| You asked for | What a designer here does | What we will not pretend |
|---|---|---|
| “A website” | Brochure: who you are, what you do, how to reach you | A store, an app, a members portal |
| “SEO” | Title, meta, Open Graph | #1 on Google with the website |
| “Branding” | Typeset your name and photos so they read on a phone | A six-week identity system |
| “Near me” | A number that answers: 813-451-2204 | A walk-in studio. There is not one |
| “Unlimited revisions” | One round on the full job | A hobby with no end date |
| “You handle everything” | Build, proof, host setup, tell you what to click at the registrar | We log into your bank and buy the domain for you |
How this shop does the hire
You pay on /sale/. Standard marketing website: $1,000. $500* if you pay in full by September 30, 2026. Sale is pay-in-full only. Not a payment plan. $100 down starts the $1,000 job ($900 due). That is not the sale. If all you need is hours, a phone, and three photos this weekend, skip the custom job. The $27 one-page is that product. You host it, or +$27 lifetime hosting on our server ($54). Different checkout. Different brief. See one-page vs multi-page if you are stuck on shape.
After you pay, you brief. We draft. You send one list of changes. We apply it. Then live. That sequence is on what happens after you pay. Forms notify tampasbestdj@gmail.com. Ask the same questions you would ask anyone else — files, hosting, domain, revisions, three live sites — in writing. We already answered them on questions to ask. Live work is public: /work/ — Dodo, Pets Helping Pets, Tampa’s Best DJ, LazerMerch, petcalendar.pet, US Helping the World. This shop’s own sites, not fake client revenue. Labeled samples (fictional shops, not fake clients): /examples/.
A freelancer can do this work. A shop can do this work. The difference is whether the answers sit on a domain you can reload next year. Read freelance vs a shop if that is the fork. If the last person vanished, skip the reunion. Domain at the registrar beats a login you never got. Designer disappeared. Then hire the next one with the same list. Hire lander if you already decided: /hire/.
Free next step: paste the URL you have. If you want this shop to do the job, pay $500* or start at the $27 pack.
